With cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a whole lot of heart, this annual gathering is your chance to raise a glass and raise your hand to support our mission as we raise vital funds to keep CO_LAB’s programs free to hundreds of actors across NYC. Join us for a night of joy, community, and celebration you won’t forget–and be there as we honor our 2026 Artistic and Community CO_LABorators of the Year!
There Used To Be a Forest Here
Join CO_LAB's Musical Theater Production class as they conjure up an ancient forest in their new original musical There Used To Be a Forest Here. Audiences will take an immersive journey where they will meet talking trees, a slew of woodland creatures and experience the seasons and nature with all their senses. With book, music and lyrics by David Lancelle and Patrick Thompson, this creative and moving new immersive musical explores what it means to care for nature, our friends, and our community.

The Fabulist: Tales from The Hearth - CO_LAB’s 2025-26 Puppetry Production
Settle in with a cup of tea by the fire as we gather ’round a reclusive adventurer’s cabin, where he shares stories from a life of daring exploits—all brought to life through the magic of puppetry.
Rod puppets, shadows, hand puppets, and more come together in this original production, devised and performed by CO_LAB’s Act III Puppetry ensemble and directed by Emily Batsford and Kristian Sorensen. Gather 'round the hearth with us at wild project and let these incredible tales carry you somewhere new.
